Home Schoolers
A primary reason for The Museum is the preservation and teaching of the many skills, trades and crafts of the pre-1900s. One of the groups we would most like to work with is the families of home school children. We plan to have day and even weekend long events were home schoolers can come and milk the goats and collect the eggs for breakfast, select among a variety of trades or crafts to learn, meet at the one room school house for their regular studies and enjoy dinner at a bonfire. We also have opportunities for “schoolers” to come to the museum to spend time helping build the museum. We look forward to hearing from you about working together in this evolving and important aspect of the museum.
